Workplace Safety and Health Concerns
District government employees or contractors with specific concerns about safety and health conditions at a District government workplace can report their concerns to the DC Office of Risk Management (DCORM) Risk Prevention and Safety division (RPS) for investigative action.
To report a workplace safety and health concern, please visit ERisk and select the “Report an Incident Event” button. From the incident reporting page, select the “Safety and Health Concern” incident type. If you have any questions or need assistance, please call the ORM Risk Prevention and Safety office during business hours at 202-727-8600, and a team member will be happy to assist you with your submission.
In general, RPS will respond to safety and health concern reports within 3 business days.
Once RPS receives a report of a safety and health concern, RPS will review the report to determine the actions necessary to address the concern. A RPS Occupational Safety and Health Specialist may contact you to discuss the reported concern, provide a status update and/or where needed, the expected date of resolution.
